Bio: Chad Carpenter serves as a senior vice president for Parkview Health and as the COO of the Parkview Heart Institute. His 40-year healthcare career began in clinical/anatomical laboratory medicine, and his career path includes revenue cycle management, marketing and business development, experience as a chief financial officer, and more than 10 years as a CEO. Carpenter joined the Parkview team in 2010 as the COO of the Parkview Heart Institute, and has since also taken on the role of senior vice president. His diverse clinical background in areas like general and long-term acute care make him an important leader for Parkview Health.

Bio: Aging and In-Home Services of Northeast Indiana, Inc. (AIHS) is an Area III Agency on Aging serving nine counties in northeast Indiana. Chris Forcucci has extensive experience in the administration of community-based programs for older adults and individuals with disabilities. Prior to joining AIHS in March 2012, she worked in nursing research at The University of Iowa where she served as the project director for a large NIH (R01) grant funded by the National Cancer Institute and as the community-based research program manager for the university's Human Subjects Office. Her experience is in translational research and implementing evidence-based practices at the community level.
Senior Vice President, Service Line Leader-Primary Care
Bio: Jim Hauguel serves as the senior vice president of the Parkview Physicians Group and as a service line leader for primary care. Hauguel joined the Parkview Physicians Group in January 2009. In collaboration with the physician service line leaders, he works with the primary care line of business in practice operations, strategic planning, physician manpower planning, physician compensation matters, incentive plan goals, patient satisfaction, financial and resource matters, evaluation of new services, and organizational growth. Prior to joining the Parkview Physicians Group, Hauguel was the practice administrator for First Care Family Physicians, PC, and brings more than 17 years of healthcare-related experience to the group.

Bio: Joni Hissong joined Parkview Health in 1990 as a staff nurse in the surgical ICU. In 1995 she became the first case manager for Parkview Hospital's cardiovascular population. In 1996 the case management program expanded to the remainder of the patient populations, and Hissong became the hospital's director of case management in 1999. She has a bachelor's degree in nursing from Ball State University and a master's degree in nursing leadership from Regis University.
Greg Johnson, DO, MMM

Bio: Greg Johnson serves as chief medical officer at Parkview Regional Medical Center and Parkview Hospital, and practices as a nephrologist with the Parkview Physicians Group. Dr. Johnson works alongside physicians to further develop leadership skills to better serve patients and the health system. "We have a phenomenal staff at Parkview, and we are committed to patient-centered care, safety, quality, and process improvement," he says. After completing an undergraduate degree at Rockford College, Dr. Johnson continued his studies at A.T. Still University's Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Johnson completed an internal medicine residency and a fellowship in nephrology at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics in Madison. He also holds a master's degree in medical management from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh and has completed a Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma. Speakers subject to change.
