Bio: Teresa recently joined Intermountain Healthcare and leads the Integrated Care Management strategic efforts for the organization. Integrated Care Management is about connecting all the parts of health care into a streamlined system that best serves the needs of patients and populations. Integrated Care Management is a prevention-focused strategic effort that helps to accomplish the triple aim of health reform - better care, better outcomes and lower cost.
Director of Strategic Planning and Co-Chair of High-Cost Patients and Hotspotting Committee
Bio: Director of Strategic Planning and Co-Chair of High-Cost Patients and Hotspotting, Intermountain Healthcare Mr. Pingree has led a team of senior leaders in reviewing and recommending opportunities for improvement in the delivery of care for the top 1 to 5% of high-cost patients across the system. He has presented at numerous conferences on Intermountain's work with high-cost patients. Intermountain's work with high-cost patients has been cited in Harvard Business Review Blog, US News & World Report, Modern Healthcare, and the Advisory Board Care Transformation Center Blog. Scott is a contributor to Intermountain Healthcare's vision for Shared Accountability where hospitals, physicians, payers and patients all have a share of responsibility for health outcomes. Scott received his Master in Public Administration from Harvard University and Master in Business Administration from Brigham Young University.
Timothy A. Johnson, MD
Medical Director, Central Salt Lake Region; Member of the Intermountain Healthcare Board of Trustees
Bio: In addition to his Medical Director role, Dr. Johnson is an internist with the Intermountain Cottonwood Internal Medicine Clinic. He joined the Intermountain Medical Group in 2006 after serving as a chief resident and completing his residency at the University of Rochester. He earned his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Utah.
Assistant Regional Operations Officer
Bio: Mr. Henriksen currently acts at the Assistant Regional Operations Officer in the Central Salt Lake Region of the Medical group. He is responsible for 18 clinics focusing on primary care and the primary care subspecialties. One of his clinics is the Comprehensive Care Clinic. He holds a Masters Degree from the University of Minnesota in Healthcare Administration and a Bachelors degree from the University of Utah.
Kim Henrichsen, RN, MSN
Vice President of Clinical Operations and Chief Nursing Officer
Bio: Ms. Henrichsen sets the vision and provides strategic leadership and operational support for the delivery of clinical services across the Intermountain system. She has responsibility for Nursing, Care Management, Quality and Patient Safety, Clinical Programs and other clinical services. Ms. Henrichsen works closely with the Chief Medical Officer, Regional Vice Presidents, Chief Nursing Officers, Intermountain Medical Group, and SelectHealth in implementing the full vision of system-wide, collaborative care.
